Abstract

Background. The process of creation of interstate integration associations has become a characteristic feature of the modern stage of globalization. For the countries of the post-Soviet space the issue of consolidation is of particular importance. In current situation, the issues of integration and macroeconomics, the implementation of the digital agenda, the economy and financial policy, industrial cooperation, trade, technical, antimonopoly and customs regulation, the development of the fuel and energy and agro-industrial complex of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Materials and methods. The realization of the research tasks was achieved on the basis of the analysis of the trade and economic cooperation of the countries participating in the Eurasian Economic Union, within the framework of which the countries develop the integration interaction, create certain agreements on the implementation of long-term projects in order to improve partnership relations. At the same time, special accent was found on digitalization and the difficulties of participation in Russian public procurement of suppliers from the Eurasian Economic Union.
Results. The article underlines the significance and prospects for the implementation of the digitalization strategy for the Eurasian Economic Union, which is of decisive importance for the development of the integration cooperation, will help solve the problem of overcoming the weakness of trade and economic ties within the Eurasian Economic Union outside the Russian-Belarusian area.
Conclusions. The study of the problems and prospects of cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union allows us to conclude that it is necessary to develop common approaches to building a new system of economic relations based on advanced development, the introduction of digital technologies, to intensify the implementation of specific bilateral economic projects, and to expand the interaction of border regions.
